U.S. Bank Bulletin on VantageScore 4.0 Credit Score Model
On September 14, U.S. Bank Home Mortgage released bulletin (B-2026-35) for their HFA and Correspondent Lending channels stating the following:
At this time, U.S. Bank is not accepting VantageScore 4.0 and will continue to accept and price for only Classic FICO credit scores for loans sold through the Third Party Lending channel.
U.S. Bank is actively evaluating the modernized credit scoring models and associated implementation considerations. Correspondent partners will be notified of any future changes to our credit score requirements as additional decisions are made.
